For those who are interested in being a part of the technical work LIMBS is doing, there are several ways to get involved.
If you are an engineering student, we invite you to participate in our annual LIMBS Summit. The Summit is designed to be a forum for collaboration - a place where students can share ideas and experiences that lead to the creating of viable low-cost prosthetic and orthotic technology for developing countries. Whether you are just interested in listening to the presentations or have some research of your own to share, we would be happy to talk to you about how you could be a part of the event. You can learn more about this year's Summit here.
If you are a student at UTEP and would like to work in the LIMBS lab, there are always opportunities for volunteers to help out. Other options that arise on a regular basis include student employment programs, COURI research projects and Senior Design. To volunteer or learn more, contact us and let us know how you would like to get involved.
