Abdul Latif has run a produce stand for many years, but after an accident that resulted in his leg being amputated, his life came to a standstill. “I was crossing the street, walking behind a car stopped at a red light when I was hit by another car,” Abdul remembers. “My leg was pinned between the two cars.”
The married father of three had been on crutches for four years, but now can walk again thanks to the LIMBS Relief Knee. “I’m so excited about getting a new leg because being able to walk will allow me to grow my business,” he said. “This not only helps me, but my family as well.” |
