Cipriano

Picture
Cipriano earned his living as a carpenter framing and roofing houses in the city of Santiago. One day, as he was working on the roof of a house, he slipped and fell breaking his leg. As Cipriano is also diabetic, his leg could not heal properly and soon became infected and had to be amputated. Cipriano is now 46 years old and is raising his two children alone since his wife left him after his accident. Before he was fitted with a LIMBS knee he was not able to find any work because he was so limited by his crutches. Once he received his LIMBS Knee at the ILAC clinic he has been able to open a fruit stand and is hoping to save enough money to buy a permit that will allow him to set up his stand anywhere in the city.
