Manuel Rodriguez

Picture
Manuel Rodriguez was a construction worker in El Salvador. One day as he was working, he began to feel pain in his leg. He tried to tough the pain out and finished working the rest of the day. When he got home, he removed his pants to find that his entire leg had turned purple. He went to the hospital as fast as he could; however, it was too late. There was significant damage to Manuel’s leg due to the poor circulation. Manuel soon had his leg amputated.
Manuel lost his job but refused to give up hope. He found a clinic that was partnering with LIMBS that would give him the prosthetics and rehab he needed. Thanks to generous donors, he now has the ability to reach his independence and is now looking forward to finding a new job.
