Un
Un Chanthon lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He lived a quiet life. One day on his way to work, a driver was not paying attention and slammed into Un’s car. Un was immediately taken to the hospital. The doctors tried everything they could, but they could not reset Un’s leg. In order to keep Un’s leg tissue from rotting or getting infected, they amputated his leg.
Over the course of 15 years Un tried many different clinics and systems of legs to try and build his life again. Most of the legs were either not fitted very well or made Un feel unstable to walk. After hearing about the Limbs partner clinic, he went and was fitted for a leg and given physical rehab. Thanks to the efforts of donors, Un is now happier was able to return to the work force and now works at Exceed clinic in Phnom Penh.
