Yorb
Yorb Seb lives in Cambodia. He used to work various jobs around his town and was happy. He didn’t know that his life was about to change. Cambodia has been a victim of war. The landscape is dotted with active landmines. On his way to town one day, Yorb stepped on one of these mines. The blast was so great it knocked Yorb unconscious. When he awoke, he found himself in the hospital, with a mangled leg. The doctors tried to reset his leg but the damage was too great. In order to prevent infection, the doctors made a decision to amputate Yorb’s leg.
Following the amputation, Yorb worked around the home. While he gave himself something to do, he wasn’t quite happy with his life. He knew he needed to get out of the house. Yorb learned of a Limbs partner clinic. He made his way to the clinic and was given a limb and physical rehab. Thanks to the donations of donors, Yorb is enjoying his new leg. He can now seek a new job and can rebuild his life.
